How do I make a deposit?
Once a pregnancy is confirmed, we will accept your $200 non-refundable deposit, that will go towards the final purchase price of your puppy. We require your deposit to be gender specific.
We can process your deposit through PayPal or Venmo (@avanmaanen). If you do not have a PayPal or Venmo account, you are able to fund the transaction with a credit card through our website or a PayPal request.
How will the selection process work?
The selection process starts at approximately 4 weeks of age. Selections can be made based on pictures and videos, or by a personal visit to our farm. Visits are by appointment only and not on Sundays. The selection order follows the order deposits came in.
Can you tell me more about your health guarantee?
The following health statement will be listed on your contract as well:
Seller warranties that for a period of 1 calendar year from date of purchase, if puppy manifests any congenital or hereditary defects, compensation will be made by seller. If upon documentation from a licensed veterinarian that a defect has manifested itself, and that defect is truly genetic and not environmentally caused, seller will reimburse buyer one-half of the purchase price of puppy, or offer to replace puppy if replacement is available.
To qualify for these guarantees, buyer must within 72 hours of receiving puppy, have it examined by a licensed veterinarian. Documentation of this exam must be returned to Seller.
No warranty is given as to the size and weight that this puppy will attain. No warranty is given concerning the level of shedding that this puppy exhibits. No warranty is given in regards to the temperament of this puppy.
What puppy food do you use?
All of our puppies are fed Iams Smart Puppy food. This is available at most pet stores or Walmart. Here is a link to purchase on Amazon.
Are your puppies vaccinated?
Yes, all puppies will be up-to-date on vaccinations prior to going to their fur-ever homes. All of this information will be given to you when your puppy goes home.
When can my puppy come home with me?
They must be at least 8 weeks old before going home. NO exceptions. We prefer they go home between 8-9 weeks of age, but willing to make accommodations.
Do you ship your puppies?
Yes! We ship them using a flight nanny. The nanny books their own flight and then brings the puppy on board as carry on. The fee for this is usually around $600.00 and is paid by the customer directly to the flight nanny. If you would like to do the flight nanny work yourself, you can book a flight into and out of Sioux Falls, SD and we will deliver the puppy to you there.
